We are seeking a highly-motivated, creative, detail-oriented, and analytical Marketing Assistant to join our talented, dynamic team. You'll be a valuable member of the marketing team that builds awareness, thought leadership and demand.

What you’ll do
- Wide variety of responsibilities that support our Marketing and Sales teams
- Enhance Security Mentor’s social media presence primarily across LinkedIn, Twitter and blogs
- Create and manage content for website pages, social media, blogs and news to measurably drive more website traffic
- Research latest inbound marketing techniques for new strategies that will drive more quantity and quality prospects to Security Mentor’s website
- Manage Google Ads account and results
- Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases
- Develop and execute creative marketing efforts including email campaigns, expo marketing, and other activities.
- Gather and analyze customer behavior data in web traffic and rankings
- Assist with trade shows including marketing campaigns and trade show preparation
- Attend trade shows to assist with marketing and sales
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience Marketing experience for established companies
- 2-3 years of experience managing SEO/SEM, social media, and/or Google Ads and display advertising campaigns
- Good understanding of marketing including market research, product positioning, social media, pricing, promotions, and sales
- Experience developing new content in a variety of media and adapting existing content for re-use
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Bright, quick, articulate, excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, and able to adapt to different internal and external decision makers
- Self-starter with a proven ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and work with all levels and departments within an organization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Demonstrated maturity and integrity
- Passionate about business results, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics and ownership
- Must be willing and able to travel to offsite events
- Must be willing and physically able to help with event set-up and tear down
How you can highlight and differentiate yourself
- Experience working in enterprises and young, growing companies
- Experience communicating with marketing professionals and agencies
- Experience with the Adobe suite of products (i.e. InDesign and Photoshop) and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Active public, social presence and profile
- Experience working with high tech or information security company
